During the last week of January 2024, french farmers decided to block highways at several locations. They wanted to draw attention to the sector's economic situation as well as call on the government to take strong measures. They were getting ready for yet another night sleeping in hay or in their tractor's cabin, despite the cold.
The pictures shown here were taken near Jossigny, a small suburban town South-East of Paris on the 31st of January. Blockades were lifted the very next morning.
